The Construction Laborers' Education, Apprenticeship and Training Fund of Minnesota and North Dakota is a non-profit organization funded through the Laborers' District Council of Minnesota and North Dakota, its ten affiliated Local Unions, and Associated Contractors' Organizations.
The purpose of the fund is to maintain the level of construction skills and education needed by union members to maintain their employability with signatory contractors. This is accomplished through an intensive curriculum of courses offered in a compact schedule between November and April, the months when the majority of the workforce is traditionally unemployed.
Our Apprenticeship Program was designed through a cooperative effort of the Board of Trustees which consists of equal management and local representatives. The goal of this program is to provide safe and productive construction Laborers to our signatory contractors.
To register for training you must be a current member in good standing with the Local Union. Please call Local 563 for registration information, or refer to the training calendar mailed to you earlier this year.
